奖助金 do not have to be paid back, as long as you maintain satisfactory academic progress. If you have a bachelor's or an equivalent degree, you are not eligible for 给予援助. 资金有限 for grants, so return applications as soon as possible.

  This federal grant can be awarded to undergraduate students who have not earned a 学士学位. 它可以用来支付学杂费. 剩余的可以 用于支付个人开支. Students can receive a 联邦佩尔助学金 from 一次只上一所学校. A recent change in the law limits the total number of years a student may receive a 联邦佩尔助学金 to the equivalent of six years.

If you see a ‘Non-Disbursable Scholarship’ on your award notification, this means that you have a placeholder for potential/anticipated scholarship funds that are have 尚未在TCC收到. These funds are not available to be used by students 支付他们的学费. If scholarship funding is received the scholarship funds will be placed in the appropriate scholarship award (Outside Scholarship, Athletic 奖学金，美国志愿队等等.) and the non-disbursable scholarship will be adjusted 或相应移除. This is not a guaranteed funding source and the funds are not available for you to access or use to pay tuition/fees.

TCC participates in the Direct Loan program. 贷款 必须 偿还. Students 必须 be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits that apply to their 学位课程. For specific information regarding assessing your debt burden, repayment terms, and loan limits, review the Student Guide, available from our office.

• Direct 贷款 are low-interest loans for eligible students to help cover the cost of 高等教育. Eligible students borrow directly from the U.S. 教育部. Students 必须 be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits that apply to their 学位课程.
• Direct Subsidized 贷款 are for students with demonstrated financial need, as determined 根据联邦法规. No interest is charged while you are in school at least half-time, as well as during your grace period and during deferment periods.
• Direct Unsubsidized 贷款 are not based on financial need; interest is charged during 所有的时间.
